IT checklist
What your IT team sets up during onboarding, from network access and sign-in to connecting your sites' data.
This checklist is for IT and systems integration teams. It lists what to set up during onboarding, in the order most teams work through it. Your account manager guides you through each step.
Data access is one of the conditions for onboarding to start, so begin with step 3 early. The data connection is a production integration that keeps running after onboarding, so plan for it as a long-lived service.
Concerned about IT availability or timelines? Talk to your account manager. CSV or Excel exports can get onboarding started while a full integration is planned.
1. Allow access to DUET
Make sure your users' networks and email can reach DUET:
- Allow HTTPS to
app.enurgen.com,api.enurgen.com, anddocs.enurgen.com. If your organization uses the MCP connector, also allowmcp.enurgen.com. - Allow email from
noreply@enurgen.com, which sends invitations, sign-in links, and reports.
The DUET app also loads sign-in and map services from third-party providers. If your network allows only listed destinations, ask your account manager for the full list.
2. Set up sign-in and users
- Sign-in: users sign in with Microsoft or Google, or with an email address and password.
- Multi-factor authentication: users can protect their accounts with an authenticator app or text message codes.
- Users: your organization's owners and admins invite users from the organization's settings page in the DUET app. Each invitation is sent by email.
3. Connect your sites' data
- Choose a connectivity option for each site.
- Check that your systems are listed under Data sources, and gather the read-only access each one needs.
- Set up the option you chose:
- Enurgen-managed integration: give Enurgen read-only access, and set up a VPN if needed.
- Customer push: send data to the DUET ingest API.
- On-site collector: provide a server, and allow outbound HTTPS.
4. Connect your other systems (optional)
- Maintenance systems: keep issues and work orders in step with your CMMS through webhooks and inbound sync.
- Data platforms and reporting tools: read performance and loss data with the Platform API.
- AI assistants: if your organization allows AI connectors, review the MCP connector's security model.
