Prepare your site information
The as-built designs, electrical configuration, and historical data DUET needs to model each site.
DUET models each site as it was actually built, so the model is only as good as the information behind it. Gather the following for each site you're onboarding, as available. Share it with your account manager, who tells you how to send it.
If something isn't available, send what you have. Enurgen fills gaps with you during the performance baseline.
As-built design
- Energy model: your as-built PVsyst project files, including the budgeted P50 model you report against.
- Layout: plant layout drawings, and CAD files such as PVCollada, KML, or KMZ.
- Racking: fixed-tilt or tracker configuration, and tracker backtracking settings.
- Electrical drawings: single-line diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Site imagery: drone surveys and site photos, if you have them.
Electrical configuration
- Hierarchy: how strings connect to combiner boxes, inverters, and blocks.
- Locations: where the inverters, combiner boxes, and weather stations are on site.
- Equipment: module, inverter, and transformer models, with datasheets where you have them.
Historical data
Up to 12 months of time-series data, at the finest resolution your systems keep:
- Operational data: revenue meter readings, inverter AC and DC measurements, and string-level measurements where available.
- Weather data: irradiance, ambient temperature, wind speed, and albedo from the site's own weather stations. For bifacial sites, front and rear plane-of-array irradiance.
The best way to share history is the same connection DUET uses for live data, through an API or a read-only database. Your IT team sets this up in IT and data connectivity. Until it's ready, CSV or Excel exports work.
Your reporting
To set up KPIs that match how your team already reports, also share:
- The KPIs you report, and how you calculate them, such as performance ratio, availability, or energy against budget.
- Your energy budget for each site, by month.
- Any days or events you exclude from reporting, such as grid curtailment or planned outages.
